Your Child's First Visit
As a pediatric dental practice, it is our privelege to specialize in the oral health of children, teens, and those with special needs. It is our goal to provide excellent care and to help educate you and your child on their oral health.
Please know that your child's first visit will consist of an exam, any necessary x-rays and possibly a cleaning. The first visit allows us the opportunity to plan and discuss how to best treat your child and therefore dental treatments, such as fillings, are not likely to be completed at the first visit.
A parent or legal guardian must accompany the child to dental visits unless other arrangements are discussed prior to the visit.

- Comprehensive Exam
- Preventative Care
- Trauma Care
- Oral Pathology Detection

- Ability to treat the very young or fearful child
- Techniques to treat special needs patients such as Downs Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, etc.
- Conservative restorations with Air Abrasion
- Early cavity detection with Diagnodent (laser light) / Spectra or CariVu (please see our "It's Not Just a Cleaning" download)
- Restorative procedures
- Stainless Steel Crowns
- Early detection and referral to an Orthodontist for growth guidance and to prevent major problems later on.
- Fillings - Composite (white)
- Simple extractions - Primary teeth only
- Nitrous Oxide ("Laughing Gas")
- Conscious Sedation
- Digital X-rays (lowest exposure)
- Silver Diamine Flouride (A minimally invasive treatment option for dental caries in children)
